Making Tax-Time Fun with a Few Pretty Things!

Alright, let's be honest--even if you are expecting a refund, filing taxes is never fun.  As a small business owner, it's even less fun, but I look forward to the little things!

I do our own taxes using the H&R Block software.  I've been using this software for 5 years now and have been so happy with it.  It walks us through everything and allows us to file in a quick and easy manner.  We always get fast refunds and I love that by filing my own taxes, I better understand how taxes work and how to plan for the next year.

Once I am done filing, I love to put my taxes into a beautiful file folder!  Seriously, this is the fun part.  Since we save ALL of our tax returns (it's recommended that you save at least 5-7 years, but my dad--a licensed tax preparer--always taught me to keep every return) it's nice to have them in beautiful folders!  Here are some that I am looking at for this year's taxes!

Oh, I love Rifle Paper Co.  Their designs are just so beautiful!  This seriously makes me look forward to filing taxes for the next 9 years!
